The old Coolstore - Jonathon Apartment

Within the walls of what was once an apple coolstore, now contains a spacious apartments. It contains all the modern conveniences you could need - dishwasher, electric oven and cooktop, split system heating and cooling unit, TV, DVD player, Foxtel and stereo.
The Old Coolstore is a fanastic place for families or a group of friends to stay, that may be organising a weekend of golf, fishing, surfing, horse riding, spa pampering, attending a wedding or visiting wineries or just enjoying the beach. Only a few minutes drive to either the bayside or westernport beaches.
If your pleasure is playing golf ask us about our National Golf Club playing rights. We have another apartment listed known as the Old Coolstore Studio Apartment this is located on the same property

We loved the space of this apartment (for a family of 4). We also loved the peaceful surroundings and amazing birdlife. Despite being tranquil, it was still only a short drive to great local amenities.

Great location close to the beaches and wineries

This was our second stay here. We stayed in the other apartment last time. This one seemed slightly bigger. The location is great and the properties are well maintained and very clean. The living area is lovely and was great to relax. Short drives to Balnarring shops too if you need anything.

We had a wonderful time staying at Raelene’s house in Merricks - the location the ideal and the house was just perfect for the family. We were overwhelmed by how spacious and inviting it was! Would highly recommend.

The apartment - Jonathon at The Coolstore was a great size and very spacious, host was also lovely. However, we were very much let down by the cleanliness of the place. Fridge, pantry, sink, stove, dishwasher, bathroom all need a thorough scrub! Also next to a reasonably busy road, so you could hear the cars passing by. Good location, I would recommend if it were clean and the main road didn't bother you, but was very disappointed - especially in the state of the kitchen.

Huge potential but missed the mark. Mismatched crockery and cutlery and cupboards needed sorting. Few cobwebs and dusty surfaces. Great space for families and lovely garden. Ideal location close to everything. Suggest a few pictures on the walls to celebrate the building's origins.

The apartment was surprisingly spacious for a 2 bedroom property. The apartment is very clean and bright and is in a great location close to Merricks beach and wineries. We had a lovely stay and found the owners to be very very helpful and happy to "go the extra mile" for their guests.

Every room was modern, it had everything you needed for a family, great facilities, highly recommended. It was also nice to be welcomed by the owners, they made us feel right at home! The Old Coolstore is gorgeous. The apartment has been beautifully renovated and is fantastic for a family holiday. There is plenty of space. It is just minutes to lots of wineries and enjoyed our stroll along the beach, were lucky to see some dolphins. We can't wait to visit again in the warmer months.
