Great place to stay, especially if you really only want a clean, quiet place with a comfy bed. We went to a show at the Regent Theatre, and found the location ideal. You have to get 8n early though to get one of the car parks!

The property is in a great location and the rooms are an ok size. We had a twin room and whilst not huge was big enough. The only let down was we had to call housekeeping everyday to do one thing or another in our room after they had supposedly cleaned it. Attention to detail i.e. not replacing dirty cups, making beds, replacing used condiments.

I appreciate having a quiet place to rest. With a beautiful comfortable bed. Also the ease of being in the CBD and using public transport to get around. I particularly like the friendly welcoming staff. I love staying at the Vic Hotel.

Victoria Hotel is very well located for transport - we used the Metro Trains, VLine, City trams, outer Melbourne trams and Uber. Everything was either a short walk or tram ride away. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed a breakfast (a great buffet) and a dinner at the restaurant "Mister Monroe" and drinks at "The Vic" bar. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall okay. The room and location was great. The only thing that could be improved is the service. Traveled for business purpose this time and there was one or two staff members at the reception desk could not figure out the receipt and room situation, and even charged the wrong amount.
