"Very clean room with spacious bathroom. Heating in both worked very well. Excellent convenient location across the road from the main ferry terminal (for the Hurtigruten and Havila coastal voyages) and Airport Express Bus stop. Local bus stops, supermarket, shopping mall with pharmacy, Tromso's pedestrian high street (Storgata) and northern lights tour meeting points are all within 5 minutes walk. My arrival was delayed by 17 hours due to the last minute cancellation of 2 long haul connections...

"Scandic group of hotels definitely has some standard to it. Dinner buffet was reasonably priced and has a good variety. However, this hotel has no free parking available for guests and one would have to pay for parking. Considering the location of it being on Lofoten where driving is almost a necessity, I find this very odd."

"If you're looking for a place to just crash, this is it. There isn't anything super special about this place, but they don't advertise it as otherwise, so you're getting what you pay for. The only thing I wish they warned us about is they were doing major renovations during our stay which is great for future clients, but kindof a pain for us. They were replacing the bedding and literally walked into our room while we were in there lol. All in all, not a bad option if you won't be in your room...

For us it served as a very nice base while we explored the area for a few days.
