"We were traveling from the USA and were looking for something in Central Switzerland that would be nice, quiet, beautiful and easily accessible by train or bus. I had never heard of Hasliberg but decided to take a chance and glad I did. The hosts were very sweet and spoke English well enough to answer any of our questions. Ruth would ask us what we would like for breakfast and would make whatever we wanted. The views from the dining area are out of this world. The chalet was very cute, nestled right into the mountainside. The rooms was a good size and it was very clean and comfortable. The location is at the top of a mountain so transportation is by car, bus, or the Gondola. We used the Gondola and then walked to the train station to do our side trips. The train station is a 15 minute walk from the Gondola, but that was our preferred way to go because the town was just beautiful to walk through. Lots of dining options around as well. I highly recommend it. I did some fun hikes while visiting as well. One was up the falls and the other was along the gorge. You can’t go wrong with a stay here. Great people, nice place, gorgeous surroundings. And it’s away from all the cities and American tourists. "
