With excellent snorkeling directly in front of the resort, as well as kayaks and a SUP for guests to use, there are many things to do. We loved the attentiveness of the staff and the excellent meals. "Our accommodation at Waves at Surfside was beautiful! The room view was perfect & the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had a great time there with Breakas within close distance for food and cocktails on the beach front. "The apartments are great for a family of 4, spacious, proper size fridge and kitchen equipped to cook. The last time we stayed we had a room that had views of lagoon from both bedrooms and lounge (rooms 1/2/3 I think) whereas this time it was a view of the lagoon just from bedroom and outside seating area - but still lovely. I was thankful for aircon in master bedroom but it meant it was a bit warm in the other bedroom and lounge (but the kids coped fine). My husband enjoyed going for a kayak....

"The resort is a bit old. But clean! I would like to suggest, if you can provide an umbrella to your guest upon arrival. And they can give it back to you when they check out. As your restaurants are all the way in the front of the property. And for rainy days all your guests where wet in the rain."

"I would have given tamanu six stars if they had that option. The place is beautiful and location on the beach makes it very relaxing. Excellent food and wide variety for different diet options. The staff is wonderful and made us feel like family. Thank you for an amazing stay especially Alice, Isabelle, Evy and the entire staff. Looking forward to coming back one day."

"We had the deluded waterfront villa. It was really lovely, sitting in the deck overlooking water was just beautiful, we could see starfish and sea cucumbers in the crystal clear water of the lagoon. Only downside was no signal for TV, maintenance changed the TV as everything was in Chinese, but still no signal. Only a minor hiccup as we were on holiday, not there to watch TV. "My sister and I really enjoyed staying at Lagoon Gardens. It felt like a home away from home. The staff were so friendly and made you feel welcome. I liked the kayaking and the breakfasts overlooking the lagoon. Transport was easy to get to and the staff supported us with booking transport when needed. As two girls travelling alone not once did we feel unsafe. Thank you to Morgan the owner and staff for taking car of us and making us feel so welcome! This was definitely the best location for us to stay when we visited Efate. We'll definitely stay here again! "

"This is a truly magical place to relax and recharge! Booking Lydia and Dave’s place was motivated by the lovely photos and appealing price point, but the reality was above and beyond my expectations. This adorable, self-contained cottage and patio has a prime position looking out over the swimming pool and ocean, which ensures fabulous views every day and lots of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Listening to birdsong and enjoying the lush vegetation was a highlight of every morning. Snorkeling is possible just in front of the bungalow during the right conditions, and there are kayaks for use. If you feel energetic, Devil’s Point Road and the nearby hills offer some walking options; there is also a beach close by."

"Could not fault the Ramada, it was clean, quiet, the staff were extremely friendly, the pool was just the right temperature, dining facilities excellent. The only thing I would like to see is a laundry guests could use (even if they had to pay). There was a service that the Ramada provided (charge per item - expensive)."
