Enjoy our little slice of heaven with a stay at the Mabry’s Cabin in the Woods. We invite you to let your stress melt away while sitting on the front porch of our secluded little cabin nestled in the peaceful shade of the surrounding trees. Grill your favorites on the charcoal grill, sit around the fire pit, and enjoy spending time with friends and family. Take a scenic 5-minute walk and take in the beautiful area that surrounds the cabin with picturesque scenery. Our property is just 4 miles from the N Trailhead at Wolf Pen Gap, which can be accessed by riding your ATV down county gravel roads. Close to all the miles and miles of ATV trails that Wolf Pen Gap offers, yet return to peace and quiet on top of its little hill after your ride.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare any meal. Our goal is that you will only need to bring your food. The bath has a beautifully designed walk-in tiled shower with a removable shower head, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in the shower. The cabin is meticulously cleaned and sanitized before your arrival.

Other fun outings in the area include picnicking/hiking/swimming at Little Missouri Falls (23 miles), enjoying the Talimena Scenic Drive vistas, and dining atop Queen Wilhelmina Mountain. We are just 10 miles from Mena, where you can enjoy restaurants and shopping. The beautiful Ouachita Mountains in this area of Arkansas are a great place to ride trails, enjoy nature, hike, fish, swim, disconnect from your busy everyday life, and reconnect with your family!

Please note there is no Wi-Fi currently at this location, and Cell Phone service is spotty!

(Please note the owner of the swimming hole has changed the rules to no dogs allowed at the swimming area)

Wolf Pen Gap is closed for the season. On October 31st. Weather permitting, trails will reopen for Thanksgiving from November 20-25, 2023, and Christmas from December 22, 2023 to January 2, 2024. Note: The trail system does close when heavy rain is predicted.
Operational Hours:
Designated routes will be open seasonally from the first Friday of March each year through Oct. 31. Two holiday periods will open the trail system to OHV use: from three days before Thanksgiving through two days after Thanksgiving and from Dec. 22 through Jan. 2. **All Opening dates are dependent on weather conditions at the time. The trail system does close when heavy rain is predicted. Please get in touch with Mena Ranger District for additional information.
Trails 1, 2, and 5 stay open year-round. Even with the trails closed, there is still much to ride and see.

It’s a great location and cabin to stay in. It’s just a short distance to all the trails at Wolf Pen Gap. There is an awesome swimming hole just up the road. Our grandkids had a blast. The hosts were easy to deal with and we had no problems with anything.

Perfect Location
Really enjoyed the location of the property. Not too far from town but far enough to enjoy some nature and quietness. We were able to ride to trails straight from the property. Only saw a few cars drive by in the couple days we spent there. The cabin was clean, well equipped, and better than expected. My family usually takes a trip out there every year and this is now at the top of the list of places we’ve stayed. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice little Cabin
Nice, clean and quiet, had everything we needed. We decided the Loft ladders do have a weight limit so we had to switch places but other than that a great little cabin. The drive to the trails isn’t bad. Just hope we left it as good if not better than we found it.

Had a wonderful time viewing the stars and riding the ATV trails.
The cabin is great and well stocked with utensils. We went riding at Wolf Pen Gap and in the evening watched the stars in the Milky Way down by the swimming hole area. It was breath taking seeing so many stars. Cooked outside on the charcoal grill. We will be back!
