"Communication with host was perfect. Property described as pet friendly however backyard was shared with other guests/dogs - adjacent pet owners had unfriendly dog so we were unable to use backyard which is why we choose the property. Future guests should note that whilst the yard is fully fenced, it is shared with other guests. Beds were comfortable, property a mix of old and modern which we really enjoyed. The property is hosted by the exceptional Tony, who checked in with us after arrival to make sure we were happy and see if we needed anything, and better yet, was only too happy to oblige and help out where he could when we did ask for a favour. "Good little house if staying for short term. Great central location. Bedrooms comfortable. Kitchen well equiped. Plenty of dining space and large comfortable couch in lounge.Front has quite high steps and parking is beside the old cobble stone gutters found throughout Ballarat, so something to consider if travelling with disabled or elderly. Bathroom shower isn’t very strong at all and whilst ok for our two night stay, would have driven me nuts along with hand basin in the bathroom, which really...

"Upon arrival there was fresh bread and fruit. Lovely touch unexpected. The unit was beautiful, very clean. Very well equipped with everything you could need. The heating system was awesome, kept the unit at a very cosy temperature. Host Mary is very easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Ballarat"
