"Perfect property for 2 people with dog too. This was our third visit. Very quiet spot but in the middle of town so easy access to everything. Lots of great shops, pubs & eateries, the locals are very friendly! Good bus links to other towns & the busy city of Stirling with more visitor attractions if you dont want to drive. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David’s lovely cottage.we lacked for nothing. David has outfitted the cottage with everything one could need. The location was central to Edinburgh, Stirling & Glasgow. Thanks to David we availed ourselves of the tram & bus to venture to Edinburgh & Glasgow. Would definitely recommend this cottage."

"What a beautiful cottage, very impressed spotless & well equipped. Only issue was high back chair that was damaged with no note to say it had been noticed and or reported, we emailed Cottages.com but no reply ! Our dog loved the garden, Coorie by the sea for doggie breakfast. we will certainly return again soon & Thank you"

"We visited Scotland to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We loved our stay at the cottage! It’s just as charming as it appears in the online photos. It was a convenient “home base” for exploring several parts of Scotland. Katie and John were amazing hosts. They (and everyone we met in Scotland) were so warm and friendly. We’d love to get back to stay at the cottage one day!"

"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."
