"Oh boy, what to say? The owner is very, very nice, and the place is right at the seafront, close to nice restaurants and the main sights in the city (it's a tiny city, though). However, it was very difficult to find, since it doesn't have a sign (is it a legal hospitality accommodation?), the public spaces are filthy and the private rooms, though reasonably clean, worn and in desperate need of renovation. For travelers who are religious Jews: the place is pretty Shabbat-worthy--hard key on a carabiener, but be sure to set the clock on the microwave before Shabbat b/c otherwise no clocks in the room. Also no challah to be had in the Old City where this is though I assume in the new city (a drive or cab ride away) you could get it."

"The place looks amazing and designed in the spirit of old Safed. I really enjoyed getting to know the owners of the place, they were super kind and lovely! They have thought of anything you'll need during your vacation. The apartment is close to all the interesting places in Safed. I am so happy that I chose this apartment. I had a spectacular and magical experience, HIGHLY recommended! A truly 10/10 experience!"

"We had a wonderful stay in this restored mansion house. The rooms and public areas have stunning high ceilings. There are artworks in every corner. It is like a museum, The bedroom, bathroom, beds, and linen were perfect. The position is in the heart of the old city overlooking the sea. We did stretching exercises every morning on the balcony where the management had left gym mats. The outstanding breakfast was served in a large hall with a six-meter ceiling! The breakfast was a fusion of the best Israeli and Palestinian cuisine. A lovely spread. This was an excellent choice of hotel in this interesting town. The hotel staff without exception were charming. "
