"We didn't expect too much.
We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered.
We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available.
The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which...
"The location was good, easy walking, parking across the street. The only issue was it was a top floor room without air-conditioning. To be fair, it was much warmer than usual in the area. "
"It was horrible rainy, misty and cold. The room was cold and even through the owner brought us an extra heater & a lovely cup of tea, it never got above 17 degrees. Small room with basic facilities. Narrow stairs & struggle to get bags up to room. Restaurant nice but steak I had was tough."
"The people running the hotel are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good. The hotel itself is older and the room was small but it was also inexpensive. They ask us not to flush the toilet or shower after 10pm, because the plumbing is old, but it is disclosured up front. The town is nice and the area beautiful. We hiked a lot."
"Les +
chambre petites mais propre
Très bon emplacement plein centre ville
Les -
Literie plus qu’inconfortable (je pense qu’elle a fait plus que son temps)
Chambre bcp trop chauffée
Petit dej banale pas grand choix et rien de frais (étant en centre ville à côté de boulangerie des croissants frais auraient été plus sympa de des croissants congelés) "
"I can't fault L'Ajasserie - I visited last year under the previous owner and, if anything, it's improved already under its new owner and she's only just getting started. I felt completely welcome and catered for, and treated as an individual rather than a number on a balance-sheet. Top marks."

Charming chalet with all comfort at 15min from the slopes, 300m from the lake, shops at 5min
4/5 Good
Cozy and secluded chalet
"A comfortable and well-equipped rental. It had everything imaginable in terms of kitchenware, recreational materials (games, cards), tourist brochures, cleaning materials, and bathroom supplies. The tourist information was solely in French as well as all instructions for the use of appliances. We highly recommend an English version, especially for the appliances, for those who have little to no French.
Unfortunately, we had an issue with the owner about charges for linen and towels. The VRBO English site indicated no extra charge for this. It seems that the French site did. This is a serious oversight/problem. Beware users of the English website before you book! However, Corinne was very amenable and understanding about this issue and we resolved it amicably.
Overall, the accommodation is very good. And visiting such a beautiful volcanic landscape was an unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience. Merci, Corinne.

"We had a wonderful 1 night stay. The best part was the hospitality. We were welcomed, felt special, and provided everything we needed. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast. "
