The location is rural yet only 1.5hrs from Dijon and the Burgundy wine region is on the doorstep. The hot tub and sauna are a wonderful way to relax overlooking the river. The host was helpful."

"We had a lovely week here in August. The pool was great for the kids and the peace, quiet and lovely wine was great for the adults. The village is a nice setting and also very quiet this time of year but the local town of Bar-sur-Aube had everything we needed. "We were informed that we could not arrive before 4pm on Saturday as the property would be cleaned and prepared before this time. On arrival it was obvious that this was not the case. The entrance gate had rubbish bins overflowing with trash in 40 degrees heat. The front garden was overgrown with weeds. The back garden was full of stinging nettles and the lawn overgrown. "Superbly located property in easy walking distance of Bar sur Aube. Ideally situated within walking distance of at least 4 champagne houses. If you love Champagne this is the place for you. The property was more than ideal for the two of us with plenty of space to spread out; including on a beautifully appointed terrace. Great to have access to a bbq. Kind, sympathetic and generous owners. We loved it here and are already planning our return visit next year."
