The comfort of the cottage along with cozy Adirondack chairs and a nice gas fire pit overlooking the lake make it perfect for relaxing evenings. "This was the perfect cozy haven for our family of five! We loved all the natural light and views of trees and wildlife from the plentiful windows. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking implements, pots, and pans. The bedrooms were cute, and the sunroom worked so well as an additional bedroom so our teenager could have his own sleeping space. The property owners were welcoming and prompt in their communication, and that added a lot of true Midwestern hospitality. We all got a big kick out...

"Cabin was on lake which had a beautiful view. It was large enough for the short time we were there. Bathrooms were nicely updated but rest of the cabin needs updates.We could not get any channels on the tv.You definitely pay for location and view."

"We came for an extended weekend for a Wollersheim winery tour and a visit to Taliesin. We added a trip to J. Henry as well. (We aborted a trip to Circus World due to the weather) There are two restaurants/ bars within a 5 minute walk from the property. We ate at each, both were good. The down side was Saturnday there was a band till 9pm, loud music till 11pm. Not a deal breaker for us as we sat on the deck listening. The property was very clean and spacious. However parking is limited, really...

"What a beautiful, cozy home in an ideal setting. The view is stunning! My family gathered here from various parts of the country to celebrate Christmas. There was even a little Christmas tree for our presents. The hosts are wonderful! Might be making plans to go back in a different season."
