"This was a great stay in Aachen except for one thing. This is a successful hotel chain in Germany so I would expect that they would figure out their plumbing problems by now, but here it is: the temperature of the water in the shower varies rapidly depending on water use in other rooms. It goes rapidly from very cold to very hot and makes for a miserable showering experience! Almost unsafe in how hot it can get. Need better flow regulators, guys! Otherwise, everything else was very good."

"We booked to stay here while attending the F1 Grand Prix in Spa, 29 miles away. It was convenient, very clean, had spacious rooms and was a pleasant stay. The only negative was that there are no staff onsite (all automated) and therefore no breakfast options. Not even tea or coffee making in rooms! I’d stay again, but I’d take a kettle with me. The only options for food within walking distance are McDonald’s and Burger King, which my 14 yr old loved but I wasn’t so keen. We did buy food in Lidl...

"If you crave perfection...this is not your hotel. This is an older hotel in a spectacular location!! We rented a family suite. It had two bedrooms and a living room and slept 4 adults VERY comfortably. It is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and every request me made was met with cheerful compliance. My only complaint is that the shower is very small...think cruise ship small. It is a 1k walk to the train station to Cologne. "
