"We only stayed one night, but it was a memorable one! Not only is the “Desert Villa” breathtakingly beautiful, but so was the atmosphere because of the hospitality of the owner Youssef and his brother. Youssef went above and beyond to make our evening there special. We arrived not too long before sunset and when he heard we’d planned to walk a little into the desert he immediately grabbed his car keys and took us to one of the further out high dunes. He encouraged us to climb up for a spectacular view, which we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. Dinner and breakfast in house were wonderful too and Youssef took time to talk to us about his life, life of Nomads and interesting facts about the area. "

"Staff was AMAZING , they went above and beyond to make an unforgettable experience!! They arranged an early check in, lunch option even though the restaurant was closed at that time. they were super friendly! Considering we were in the middle of Desert , The tent was comfortable, clean with private bathrooms. It has a beautiful view of the Sahara Desert from the camp , and they offer camel rides from the camp to see Sunset and Sunrise. We were celebrating my husband Birthday and they did a great surprise to him! I highly recommend Sanmao Luxury Camp to experience Sahara Desert in a unique and comfortable way. Best "

"It was a really bad experience! The owner of the hotel is rude and aggressive. We were charged for the breakfast even though it was included. Staff cannot speak English which makes communication difficult. However, the owner is the worst and rudest of them all. We wanted to spend the afternoon on the hotel facilities after having checked out. We were nearly screamed at that we have to leave the property as we have already checked out. The hotel has not been full, nor were a lot of people inside of the hotel. It was a really uncomfortable and unprofessional situation. We will definitely never stay at this property again. "

"Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in Auberge Les Roches. We arrived by rental car around sunset and were pleased to have a complimentary tajin dinner that night. The breakfast was good, and we made tons of use of the pool, which was a hit with our kids. Amazing dunes are just a short walk away. We were in the area for fossil hunting. A couple other notes: we had to pay for the room in cash only, which we didn’t get notice about until the day before checkout and nearly had a problem with because there was only one ATM machine in town and it limited us to withdrawing 4000 MAD per account per day. I would have preferred a reminder at check in that we still needed to pay for the room and that it was cash only."

"The place was magical and the staff where amazing. Rachid, Mohammed and Hassan where so helpful and very kind!!!! I highly recommend this place if you want to have an amazing experience at the desert !"
