"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

"Bis auf wenige Ausnahmen lässt das Haus und die Einrichtung kaum Wünsche offen. Vielleicht wäre es ganz gut Grundzutaten wie Zucker, Salz, Pfeffer undEssig & Öl dort zu deponieren. Und im Bad und der Dusche fehlt es an Aufhänge- und Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der Pool ist wirklich toll. Aber es ist ein wenig nervig dass man selbst Chlor nachfüllen muss damit das Wasser sauber bleibt. "Booking, checking in and out and communication with owner was excellent. Kitchen and bathrooms fully equipped and excellent. Sofas in lounge were uncomfortable and could do with replacing. More soft furnishings would enhance the ambience of the property and bedroom 2 lacked curtains for privacy from being overlooked. Overall it was a good stay, very convenient for La Tremblade and all it offers."

"We have just spent half term with our grandchildren at Sylvain’s property. The property was very secure, completely enclosed. The pool cover was lockable to avoid any accidents. The pool was heated which was a bonus. There was plenty of outside space for relaxing and dining. Inside, the living area was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. "Three days before leaving the UK we were contacted by the owner's agent saying we had to leave a large € deposit (now increased). I offered a credit card but they would only accept a cheque or cash. Appealed to owner who agreed to reduce but still had to leave a large amount in cash. Owner pointed out it was in his conditions. This is not communicated in the booking and I eventually I found it hidden, in French, in a sub menu, under House Rules, on the UK website. On departure we had to get to...
