"We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux...

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

The house had plenty of room for large groups like ours and the supermarket was 5 mins drive up the road which was really handy. "Quiet neighborhood, quiet street less than a minute walk to the Main Street and 5 min walk to the river! Stunning views, place was well stocked and everything well labeled and organized. Would recommend this place to anyone! So nice to be able to park the car we rented in the driveway.. "

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is situated far away from any source of noise - in the middle of farmland. It is very peaceful. The house is well equipped and well cared for - the pictures do not do it justice. It is a nice mix of modern amenities and rustic fixtures. The pool in the garden is shared with the owners but this was no problem. "We arrived very late as our flight was delayed and then we were stuck in Paris traffic. Lawrence was very kind to keep a parking spot for us next to the rental apartment so it would be easier for us to unload our luggage. "Very nice older property that is about 2 blocks from the train station. Very walkable to the rest of town and is in a nice quiet area close to the chateau. Rooms small but typical for older properties and well kept. Bathroom was somewhat outdated and some problems with the shower but not a deal breaker."

"Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Suggestions for dinner were perfect. Breakfast, 9.5 euros, was outstanding. A large buffet of fresh choices. Excellent coffee. The hotel is an easy walk to the Château, the river, shops, and dining. Nearby local restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced. We will be back. Highly recommended. "

Nice central hotel and friendly staff

"We had a very nice stay , and we were upgraded to executive room which was lovely , unfortunately it looked out onto the main road which was being dug up and majorly overhauled and the noise from machinery until they stopped was rather loud . It restarted at 8am but luckily we were just waking up anyway . The staff were very helpful and helped us find parking as road disrupted and breakfast was very nice . Central to old town so location great "

"Property was well situated for getting around Blois and surrounding areas. Disappointed on arrival after a long journey we couldn't have an evening meal as we were told we hadn't booked half board. Having said that the menu was rather poor we were directed to a nearby restaurant. Breakfast was ok."
