"when i arrived it was quite late which i made them aware of in the early part of the day. There was a lady in the office that was very unhelpful. In going up to my room i opened the door to a hot box- windows and doors shut and no air conditioner on- they knew i would be arriving. I spent the whole night trying to sleep in heat- it was awful. I had no one to show me how the air conditioner works either. i left after one night could not stay "

"Villa Ela is a lovely basement appartment at the edge of the village of Kalligarta on a hill overlooking the sea. The Villa has three appartments with the owners Niko and Gabrielle occupying the top floor appartment. The appartment is well furnished and has a covered outside terrace by the pool which is reseved for guests in the basement apartment. "We stayed for a week at this immaculately clean and well equipped apartment. The owners couldn’t do enough for us to make feel welcome - starting with the airport greeting, being on hand to answer any questions about Kefalonia at all times, whilst also being mindful not to get in the way of our family holiday.
