This hotel exceeded my expectations and the location was great to walk to the Zocalo or to Chapultepec Forest. Great central location with a market across the street on the weekends.

The staff were incredibly helpful and courteous! The room was beautiful and in great conditions but the A/C was not working. The room was hot like a sauna, causing bad sleeping time. They provided a fan for the second night and that helped a little but it was still uncomfortable to be sweating while sleeping. The location of the hotel was great. Walking distance from the main touristic attractions (if you like to walk).

Hotel was centrally located in CDMX. Within walking distance of restaurants and paseo de la reforma.Good water pressure and hot water. Across the street from a nice local family and dog friendly park.Nicely cleaned daily and attentive service.We originally scheduled 3nights just in case but decided to stay our entire 7 days there due to the quietness of the hotel at night despite its location. Will stay there again!!

Well located . Restaurant facing the park is good. 2/3 blocks from La Reforma and the city tours . However ; the small roof top is ok but the water of the pool is freezing and no shades . Mattress of bed are kind of hard . Overall: good quality/ price ! Super clean !

I stayed at the Hotel Stella Maris over the 2023 Thanksgiving weekend and was extremely pleased with the hotel's staff, public areas, location on a delightful urban park, and its close proximity to all of the Reforma tourist sites. Its San Rafael neighborhood was particularly delightful. I was given a bedroom on the 8th floor overlooking the park and the city, and the room was super-clean and updated to a very modern look, with good linens and mattresses, plus a splendid marble bathroom. I will stay there again when I am next visiting Mexico City. It is very convenient to shopping, theaters, and good restaurants, and one can walk freely in the neighborhood without any concern for safety. My only suggestion for improvement would be to its internal restaurant - - which I understand is run by a third-party operator. It had no standard breakfast buffet, and few patrons were in evidence using the restaurant - - apparently most eating at the various mix of other restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel which seemed always to have ample clientele and more professional wait-staff.
