"This was a family trip from America. First time in France, loved the city but was so nice to come back to our home for the week in the country. We all fell in love with everything. The host was very kind, helpful and was a nice part of our week. Thank you for allowing us to live in your world for a memorable week. The home had everything you needed a lot of nice bedrooms and baths. Fun for the whole family!"

The house is grand and full of character with big high ceilings and amazing decorative pieces in every room. There is a great big dining room to enjoy big dinners together and a large but cozy salon for spending time together. "Nous étions venus pour travailler, et cette maison est un petit (grand) havre de paix qui permet de bien se poser et se reposer. Confortable, elle est chargée d’histoire et de vécu, maison familiale par excellence. Parfait quand on aime vivre dans un lieu qui a une âme. Si vous recherchez modernité et maison “Ikea”, passez votre chemin. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner, s’installer, prendre l’air. Les propriétaires sont adorables et faciles en communication. "For our group of 6 over for the Rugby World Cup, we got everything that we needed. The chance to relax, have our own space, ability to cook and the ability to relax at the pool and jacuizi, makes life easy. We were very well looked after by the hosts. The area is great and supermarkets and bakery 5 minute walk, and then bus to take you to Oulins and lyon right at the door. Would recomend staying here to other people."

"We wanted a place close to Lyon to use as a starting point for a tour of the Massif Central. La Rafiliere fit the bill perfectly. The countryside in April was gorgeous and the house was clean and comfortable. Our only disappointment was not meeting the donkeys!"
