I like how close everything was included the free tour bus look like they try and keep the property clean and the workers was nice you do have free happy hour from 5-6 but it is a short list and only one drink now what I didn't like was the English was a little off from the worker that work the bar and food area I got breakfast and wanted sausage instead of bacon with my pancakes and eggs and somehow she made a extra side of bacon so I got charged for extra bacon and I didn't want the bacon that came with my breakfast so now I got two orders of bacon next is the shower at least on the 3rd floor don't have a full glass door or a curtain so the water gets on the floor and it seem like people can see in the window to the shower since it have blinds and last no microwave which is fine but the little refrigerator have there stuff in it that they will charge you if you eat or drink anything so you really don't have a refrigerator either

Amenities are great with two pools and a cozy restaurant/bar in the middle. The hotel employees are very attentive and polite. Some of the room features need modernization: bedside lamps with outlets, fan in the bathroom, lights above the kitchen area (stove, countertops). And I know its's a tropical climate, but there were some small bugs scurrying about the room.

This property is beautiful! Right in the mix of Miami Beach and there’s plenty to do and see. The staff were great as well. Ms. Livia and Rosie were very sweet and informative about the area. These ladies made our vacation stay that much more memorable. Thank you ladies and to the Riviera Suites.

Three buildings all very old and in need of updates. Rooms are very, very small and smell of mold and mildew. The suites are regular rooms with microwave and sink and cost twice as much. Room keys did not work properly. Will not stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My only request would be a dish towel in the kitchen as we cooked a few meals in the unit and with limited counter & sink space, it would’ve been nice to wash & dry to put it all away. I kept using paper towels to dry which felt wasteful. Otherwise thank you for such a lovely experience! Would definitely stay here again!

One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. We arrived early afternoon to check-in during which the computers we were down. When we came back to the hotel at around 8:30pm, we were told the computer system still wasn’t working and to sit in the lobby. After 30 minutes we were incredibly frustrated and after watching two other couples check in we asked why they were able to check in while we weren’t -- only then dud they suddenly get us a room. The room was dirty when we arrived -- the floor were wet (resulting in the floor boards to be warped and stick out which was painful if your bare foot hit it) as well as an odor. If it could not get worse, there was a cockroach in the shower (which I have photos of). We did not feel comfortable using the shower for the entire stay at the hotel I will certainly never stay at this hotel again and advise anyone I know staying in Miami to choose a different hotel.

Overall, the stay was nice. The three things to critique about this place is the mini snack bar that is located inside the corner of the room. Somebody forgot to check the quantity of the snacks when they were stocking the mini snack bar. Some of the items were not in the snack bar and I was very concerned about it because I didn’t wanted to get charge for a snack that I didn’t even eat. When I report it to the front desk. The lady said if you jot the missing snack items on the sheet that is on the snack bar and then give it to her, she will input it in the system. But as I was jotting the missing snack item to the sheet of paper, my wife got mad and she said, Why are we doing there job? I jot it half way and went back to the front desk and complained again. They came to the room and took everything that was in the snack bar, which they should have done in the first place. As they were taking the snacks out of the snack bar. They said, every room has different snacks in the snack bar and they apologized and walked out of the room. I mean I get that but the sheet on the snack bar in the room has the list of quantities of snacks. I just wanted to save my butt from getting charged of snacks that I didn’t eat. For the room that I was in, it was next to the pool bar and it was loud until late at midnight. My luck was not there when I booked place. Parking is pain in the butt. I paid 40 bucks for reserved parking for a day. The hotel does not have their own parking space.
