This hotel is a gem for families traveling with kids. There’s a kitchen in the rooms so I was able to cook. There’s no pool, no restaurant onsite, during the time we stayed, bartender was MIA. The front desk agent made me a drink. When we communicated with staff they were nice.

I stayed there over a week and it seemed I was the only person there. The staff super super rude . Was going to extend my stay but manager I spoke with was more concerned about charging me late check out and that turned me off and made me change my mind … Had 15 min to leave. Security was called on me. I’m disabled and 39 and weigh like 90 pounds and paid my week … That Wasn’t necessary… made me feel like I was criminal or something. Was terrible and I’m traumatized. Never ever with them again M M M M M M M M M I stayed there for a week. I am resident her in Miami Beach because I only stay there because my apartment roof collapsed send, they found out by roof inspectors that there’s mold so that being said, I wanted to extend to the end of the month and when I called to speak with manager about extending And her response was you don’t I’m going to charge you $89 for late check out in 20 min you have left… I of course, did not wanna extend my stay after being treated in such a manner and they couldn’t even accommodate me even after I stayed there for a week Yes, I’m leaving sorry

I had a reservation here and I had the e mail to confirm this they gave me a different room that did not accommodate the amount of people I had with me. They didn’t fix it or make things right when with my confirmation e mail. So I left the hotel and did not stay. And when we went to the room that they had given us that wasn’t the correct room the sheets were dirts and the toilet was not clean.

Clean but not a lot of personality
Room was nice and clean but the hotel lacks warmth and the staff is hit and miss. Waited for a long time in the reception area without anyone offering any assistance.

Check-in experience horrible
We bought a night at this hotel as a gift for my elderly parents, and were NOT advised by Expedia, or the hotel, that the cardholder needed to be present at check-in, until my parents arrived and the hotel refused to check them in until they paid the full amount separately. This is despite the hotel already debiting my credit card (they did issue a refund to me within a couple of days) and despite us pleading on the phone with the person at the front desk who was completely inflexible, impolite and unprofessional. He also claimed that Westover had severed its relationship with Expedia a week after our booking, which was apparently a lie. The hotel itself is okay, but be prepared for an unnecessarily stressful experience at check-in.

Great location friendly staff
Good overall stay, nice location less than a block from the beach. Room was clean and with lots of space Parking was a headache ( 2 blocks away surcharge) and no space on enterance to even load/unload.

Clean Hotel, Friendly Staff, Close to Beach
Westover Arms is an equally affordable and impressive hotel. The location is prime; just one short block from the beach. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and my party had absolutely no issues throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend and would consider staying again myself. The best bang for your buck in Miami.

Horrible experience
They allow guest to smoke marijuana on there premise. No imenities or pool, front desk staff are rude very unprofessional. They require you to leave a copy of your identification card which we know it's a lot of fraud going and that's personal information. They charge for housekeeping and additional charge for what I'm still not sure.

nice hotel...bed was really comfy
They didnt have the room I booked so they upgraded me to a bigger room . That was a nice perk and they had a store in the hotel so that we could take advantage of the kitchen unit they put us in. After a long day of travel we didnt really want to go out for dinner so it was nice to be able to make a small meal for ourselves.

I can't tell you about my stay because my reservation was cancelled on the day i was to arrive. Check-in wasn't until 3pm and I arrived 15 to 20 minutes prior. I was greeted by a very nonchalant front desk worker who took my information but could not find any reservations. She then was assisted by another worker who also could not find the reservation. So then I informed them that the reservation was made through hotels.com. They then proceed to tell me that "oh that reservation was cancelled due to non-payment". I then inform them that I paid the one night stay deposit and i chose the option to pay the reminder at the hotel. Long story short they didn't care, they were of no assistance to my party and I basically left us stranded. They didn't even try to accommodate at least for the 1st night if not all 3 nights. They didn't care that we were from New Jersey, they didn't care about anything.. they were rude, inattentive, and not helpful to the situation and best of all because the reservation was cancelled (on the hotels behalf and not my own) they still charged me the non refundable one night deposit. I was in such a rage that i did not get their names but it was the young African American female with glasses and a tall slender Hispanic female that worked on 2/25/18 between 2:35pm and 3pm that day. oh i forgot to mention the whole time they are telling me my reservation isn't good hotels.com said everything was ok online and via the automated system..so i didn't understand

Horrible hotel and svs do NOT stay here.
This was a dirty hotel that smelled from the start and staff was ridiculously rude and unprofessional throughout bordering on illegally trying to enter my room, giving me the wrong room type, waking me up inappropriately and being aggressive and almost assaulting. Do NOT stay here.

Non Sabbath Friendly or accommodating
Not Shaboss friendly. The stairs are locked from the outside stairwell going into the floor hallways on purpose to keep the orthodox Jews out. Orthodox Jews who do not utilize the elevator on the Sabbath are not wanted in this Hotel. I was locked out on the Sabbath and the hotel staff refused to accommodate my requests to open me the stair well door because I refused to use the elevator on the Sabbath. Good Samaritans and Miami beach cops had to help me get access during the Sabbath. Do not use this Hotel, they are outright Anti Semites. The Hotel Manager Mr Castro told the staff that if they dare help an orthodox Jews request on the Sabbath they will get fired, Mr Castro also said that his Uncle was Fidel Castro and he also didn't like Jews. Do not Use the Westover Hotel..

Security guard made the trip!
The front desk experience was very cold. The attendant was not welcoming. But the room was very clean and spacious. The best part was the security guard. He was extremely friendly and even directed us to a delicious place for breakfast.

Smaller hotel, close to beach
The hotel is one block from the beach in a busy hotel area, as is most of Middle Beach.vouchers for beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler were wonderful....no carrying everything back and forth to the beach. This is a smaller hotel with apartment style rooms.appreciated the kitchen, didn't use all of it, but good to know it was here. This allowed us to do breakfast in.
