"Booked a twin room last minute with my son, travelling long distance for him to take his driving test in Bridgend. Reviews looked good and price was excellent. More or less same price as staying at local service station and SO much better!!! Lovely place to stay. Welcoming staff. Had evening meal and left early next morning. Went for a brief walk around before dinner, local shops and another pub a few hundred yards away across the green. Would consider coming back with wider family in the future. Thank you, Simon"

"Beautiful hotel and spa with excellent service from all staff. Surpassed my expectations. The outdoor vitality pool was fantastic, worthy the extra cost, and the indoor pool was beautiful. I especially appreciated the ability to order drinks and have them delivered poolside, a really superb addition. Our suite was large and tastefully decorated with a beautiful bathroom and large free-standing bath. Our room was quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. Very clean everywhere. Superb staff, especially the bar waiter. We would definitely return. "
