"Me and my partner chose to stay here with our dog as we had not visited Alsace before. The property is in a great position in a lovely quiet village with easy road and rail access to Strasbourg. Bruno the owner was very welcoming and the property is clean and full of lots of interesting historical pieces of art and furniture. There is plenty of space with three bedrooms and the kitchen is well fitted out with all modern appliances. I would highly recommend this property."

"This gem is located in a quiet northern suburb of Strasbourg. The host let us check in early and gave us a great overview of the apartment and the transportation options if you don’t utilize a car. Strasbourg and Colmar are worthy of a five day vacation on their own. The cobblestone roads and old rustic homes and buildings are spectacular. "Windstein is a beautiful quiet village and so many of the villages around there were very pretty. The gite was spotless, it has a very small kitchen but the lounge and the bedrooms are fine, we also loved playing pool. "Small, local, independent style hotel. The facility was replacing it's hot water heater during our stay, we were called earlier in the day and advised we'd have no hot water, were offered free breakfast for the inconvenience. It's mid-summer so a quick, cold shower was acceptable. When asked, the front desk attendant advised us on how best to get to downtown Strasbourg by driving the short distance to Gare Hoenheim, parking for 4.20 Euro (4,20) which allowed up to 7 to take Tram B to downtown Strasbourg. It was an easy way to get to the heart of the city."

"A small, friendly hotel, located at a huge shopping and leisure area. Lots of eateries within walking distance. Including 2 buffets. Considering the quality and amenities at the hotel, we were very surprised at the very reasonable price. I will definitely return if we visit that area again. "
