I only had two concerns: On one of the wooden rails of the stairs wood is being rotted away underneath the paint, leading into the railing to move under my hand. "The heating had been switched on before we arrived. Which was great as it was very cold. The cabin was very comfortable and well fitted out. Couldn't get the electric blankets to work. The supplied toiletries had been used as had the milk in the fridge. Admittedly at a quick glance that was not obvious."

"I loved the property, and layout of the house was surprisingly modern and functional, just missing a laundry room and internet connection to make it perfect, hence the 4 stars. In saying that, I wouldn’t have minded having no internet, but, also had no phone service which it’s not ideal if we had to deal with an emergency. Every thing else was great!"

"We spent a couple nights in Ballarat at Kevin and Anna's property. We were met at the gate by Kevin, who gave us a brief tour of the home. The property is beautifully appointed with modern appliances, and was exceptionally clean. The bottle of fresh milk in the fridge was very appreciated. We found the bed super comfortable, and enjoyed the opportunity to sit in comfort at the end of long days sight seeing. "

"What a beautiful resort. My family of 3 children and 2 adults had a beautifully appointed family room, with a most spectacular view of the hills and golf course. Besides the slamming of a few front doors, overall it was extremely quiet and we slept thru the night without hearing anyone else. The swimming pool was weird, but still fun. We had a great stay, with friendly staff and a peaceful rest. This was our first getaway in 3 years. We finally had a break from our busy schedule and LOVED it"
