Get away from it all villa set amidst Mediterranean gardens with private pool

Villa Alexandria is located just 50m from the aqua blue waters of undoubtedly the best bay on Brac, so the villa is a perfect holiday destination for those seeking peace, tranquility and nature all around.

The villa is set in Mediterranean gardens with lavander and rosemary bushes, colourful oleanders and citrus and olive trees.

There is a large private sunbathing terrace at the front of the villa with a small but welcoming swimming pool .

From the first floor dining terrace are unspoilt sea views to enjoy whilst outdoor dining.

The house is set on 3 levels. On the ground floor is the large master bedroom with wide sliding doors that open onto the pool terrace. An en suite bathroom with corner bath is off this bedroom and this also has views over the pool, great for luxurious bathing! There is a second double bedroom plus bunk bed room on this floor, and a shower room. Going up the stairs is an a spacious attic living/bedroom with 2 single beds. There is wifi, but the reception is not always stable, due to the isolated location of the property, so we cannot guarantee a continuous connection. The villa offers sleeping on 2 double beds and 2 bunk beds and in the attic room 2 single divan beds. The divan beds can also be put together to make a comfortable double bed. But please note that the villa sleeps a maximum of 6 persons in total.

The villa used to run only on solar power with a back up generator but since summer 2021 it has mains electricity. It also now has faster wifi and more reliable than before.

Getting to Brac: Take the 50 minute car ferry from Split harbour. Split harbour is 20 kilometres from Split airport. The crossing takes about 50 minutes. The cost per person is approx 5 Euro.

Getting to the Property: a representative of Dalmatian Property Management office will meet you in Milna and take you to the villa. They will also give you all information about the region, supermarkets, restaurants and cultural events you might visit during your stay. In a case you need anything else DPM personnel will be happy to help and at your service throughout your stay in one of the properties we manage.

Picturesque bay
This property combines the best of proximity to the sea and Milna. A real escape. Home is as pictured and has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen. Road is now paved and it is an easy 7 min. Drive to Milna for shopping and restaurants. Our favorite meal was at kapetanovo lozje, which the property manager recommended. We had a magical stay.

Tranquility by the bay
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Alexandria! It is a spacious, modern house, situated in the hills of a wonderful secluded bay with pristine waters. A short walk from the house you find a platform that belongs to the villa, to jump right into the turquoise sea or lounge in some chairs that are provided to the guests. The house itself has everything you need for your stay, including a pool to dip in for cooling off, or lounges to sunbathe In the garden. The large balcony has enough space to eat outside and hang out, while enjoying a nice view of the bay. If you want a quiet and secluded stay, this house is for you. But the port town Milna is not far (10 mins by car) - it offers strolling around the marina‘s restaurants, walks through the old town and of course all necessary shopping. And there are some excellent restaurants closer to the house that you can probably find on google maps. There is also much more to explore on the Island of Brac, but we were so content at Villa Alexandria that we postponed this to our next trip.

Lovely attractive Villa
Not a problem staying in a solar powered property. The Villa was very clean, very spacious with some lovely touches. The generator was very easy to use and caused us no problems. Alison, Mia and Lea were very helpful and made sure we had a wonderful stay. The pool was not as big as we were expecting but the sea was only 100m from the front door. It would have been nice to have opened the fridge when we arrived and seen milk, juice, bread etc...........the finishing touch which was missing.

Es war alles perfekt, bis auf die Pflege der Details : Spülmaschine ist defekt , Geschirr und Besteck ziemlich unsauber , Fenster Isolierung löst sich durch die Sonnenstrahlen auf . Aber ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert . Vor allem die Umgebung , das Meer , das Essen und insbesondere die Freundlichkeit der Bewohner ist top !

Grosse Probleme mit Basisinstallationen (Strom und Wasser!)
- Elektrizität hat nicht funktioniert, auch nach Reparatur ist die Stromversorgung immer wieder zusammengebrochen. Jeden Tag! - Durch die kaputte Elektrizität war auch die Wasserversorgung unterbrochen und wir hatten kein Wasser. - Keine Zugangsstrasse, gefährliche Anfahrt und kein Platz zum Wenden. - Keine Adresse, keine Beschriftung, kein Licht: schwierig den Weg jeweils zu finden. - Internet hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert, die ganze Woche nicht. - Klimaanlagen haben wegen Elektrizitätsstörungen nicht funktioniert. - Mückennetze hatten überall Löcher, dadurch Mückenschwärme und viele Mückenstiche bei unserem Baby. - Swimming Pool extrem klein. - Die Ferien waren überhaupt kein Vergnügen. Wir würden für die Basic Mängel oben gerne eine Kompensation erhalten.

2 Stunden nach der spärlichen Übergabe der Ferienwohnung durch eine genervte Mitarbeiterin der Agentur gab es schon den ersten Ärger mit der Nachbarin wegen des Genarators (zu laut) Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer wunderschönen Bucht, allerdings inmitten von 2 Baustellen die auf den Anzeigenbildern gekonnt retuschiert wurden. Die Aussenanlagen sind ungepflegt und im Haus funktionierte der Ferseher nicht W-LAN ging ab und zu. Türen klemmen, Insektenschutzgitter defekt, Beschichtung vom Pool bröckelt ab ....usw.

The villa was perfect situeerd , you can see the see. Two mimutes walk to the most beautiful see of
Only problem was nzbours were complening of the noise of generator. This was not nice. Went you start living in the house you are confronted with lots of inperfection. Light not working, holes on the floor, .... But nethetdelesss we had een wonderfull vacation

Great Place and very nice contact persons
Great Place and very nice contact persons - says it all. The villa is a little bit off the track outside Milna, therefore very quiet. Great for relaxing. We felt extremely comfortable. We were in contact with three different persons from the agency (via the same email-adress). All of them were very nice and supportive. It has been a great vacation!
