the Canberra QT is a lovely place to stay. At the moment it has lots of construction happening all around it which makes it a bit inconvenient but the staff well and truly make up for this with their impeccable service. We had an issue with the air conditioning not working in our room and very easily we where moved to a different room with no concerns. Great stay.

There are a few hotels, restaurants, spa, and cafes nearby, most of them are under the same group, DOMA hotel. The bar is available on 7/F on the same building, good for a drink during night time with the view of sunset.

From the moment you pull up in the car at this hotel you realize it will have some challenges. All the spots are taken in front of the hotel at the 1/2 hour parking area nearest the check in and were for our entire three night stay. Instead you need to park in the garage below the building and try and figure out the maze into the hotel with no signage and poor lighting. (Don't even try to use the Wilson parking App, it doesn't work) The rooms face the Lake and Capital, which is excellent, but the windows are of poor design so the expressway below is very loud in your room. The lighting in the room is very dim, once you figure out what the unlabeled switches do, and you will need to use a flashlight for a number of the parts of the room. The area around the hotel has a limited number of restaurant options and the walk into town is a mile, the Capital is 2.5 mile walk. Public transport is not nearby.

Spacious and clean. Good location, central to everything. Didn’t like the cost of charging EV car. Too pricey.

The hotel was stylish, comfortable and clean with responsive staff.
