What a wonderful experience we had. We were greeted by the property manager with a friendly hello and they called us by our names. The check in process was so efficient and we were provided with some helpful information. The two days more than met our expectations. The lake is so beautiful and clean. Look forward to coming back soon.
Room was very clean when we arrived, area was very peaceful and sunset was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful will definitely be staying again.
We absolutely loved it. The place is clean inside and out and it has the most beautiful view. We are going back next year. I would tell you all to go too, but I don't want you all booking the place up making it harder for me to stsy here again.oh heck, just book it, you won't be disjointed. If you are, nothing will make you happy.
This is a lovely, old school Minnesota resort. The owners are very friendly and made me feel welcome and safe, including no contact options for check-in. I stayed in the Lodge, which was super clean and had a wonderful giant bathtub. The Lodge rooms aren't fancy but they are comfortable and roomy. I enjoyed being able to kayak and spend some time on the beach. Looking forward to coming back with my kids sometime!
We were greeted with a very friendly person. We were there to relax and unwind. The room was very nice and the bathtub was large enough for two people to sit in like a hot tub, complete with water jets.
The facility was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend Viking Bay.

The property had a wonderful view of Lake Miltona and the resort was quaint. Unfortunately we stayed in the lodge. We heard everyone’s conversation in the rooms around us. Kept us up almost all night. Our room faced the parking lot so had no view and there was a flight of stairs to get to our room. If you have difficulty getting up stairs, the second floor of the lodge is not for you. The resort does have cabins but we didn’t get to see them as we were busy doing things with friends. The resort also has boats for rent and other amenities available. When making reservations specifically ask for lake views and where you will be staying. It will make a difference. The staff were great!
Beautiful location right on the lake.
Great jetted tub big enough for 2.
I brought my own toaster and wine glasses because fhey were not listed as an amenities, but they had both in the cupboard.
My husband and I had the best time here! Loved renting their fishing boat and spending the day out on the lake. The whole family working this resort was nothing but kind and most helpful. Great Minnesota experience. Thanks so much!
Great place to unwind where the kids won't get bor
Large room with fridge, microwave and coffee. Very friendly staff. The beach is full of nice sand and the swimming area goes out quite a way from the shore. Lots of activities like canoeing, kyaking, paddle boards, fire pits, bbq grills and nice seating to watch the sunset over the lake.
