"Our time at My Hill Eco Lodge was deeply relaxing and truly memorable. The location is absolutely perfect — set on a hillside with what I believe are the best views of the Twin Lakes. From our room and balcony, it felt like we were perched above the lakes, giving us a sweeping, panoramic view that was simply stunning. Thanks to the large French windows opening onto the balcony, we could enjoy that breathtaking scenery right from our bed.

"Very friendly and helpful staff with a restaurant on-site and the historic hotel/hangout across the street. A bit far from the national park. No fan, AC or mosquito net in room. Luckily, I didn't need the latter. A bit worn around the edges, but relatively comfortable. "

"The staff was very friendly and more attentive than any other hotel I have ever stayed at. The lodge itself is very outdated the price was high but so are all the other ones in the area."

"This place is impossible to find. The roads are terrible on the way and dangerous. In fact never found it in the end and turned around to go to another hotel. Beware!"

"The house is a 15-20’ walk from the center. Difficult to communicate with the lady (no French, little English) but her husband speaks fluent French. Excellent breakfast, clean and spacious room."

The lodge is set in a beautiful and unique location, surrounded by breathtaking nature and endless views that make you feel like you’re in heaven. Every sunrise and sunset paints the sky with colors that you can enjoy right from your room or the open terrace.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and genuine care that makes you feel at home. The food is delicious and fresh, with a breakfast that is simply outstanding one of the best ways to start your day in Rwanda.
What makes this lodge so special is the privacy and tranquility it offers. The rooms are not only spotlessly clean but also beautifully decorated with thoughtful details, combining comfort and elegance in a way that rivals any luxury hotel.
Honestly, My Hill Eco Lodge feels like a hidden gem the best hotel in Africa, offering the real charm and features of a true 5-star experience, while still staying connected to nature and local culture. If you are looking for peace, beauty, and authenticity, this is the perfect place."
"Friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a relaxing garden area. I would recommend this lodge to families, couples, and solo travelers looking for a peaceful stay in Musanze"
"This property is falsely advertised. The location listed on Expedia is not accurate, and when I arrived, it was nowhere near where it was supposed to be. I was forced to book another hotel last-minute. That alone would have been manageable, but the real issue is that the property provided no way to resolve the situation. They never answered their phone, ignored messages, and even when Expedia tried to reach them directly, there was no response. As a result, I was unable to cancel and lost over $1,300.
Travelers should be aware that this listing is misleading and the property is unresponsive."
