Nestled in the heart of the unspoiled village of Withypool, this beautifully converted chapel enjoys an elevated position offering stunning views over the River Barle Valley and comes complete with a crackling wood burner in the cosy lounge and a private patio garden, creating the perfect family retreat in the heart of Exmoor National Park.

Accessed via a few steps from the village lane, the front door opens into a large hallway with a slate-tiled floor and wood panelling. The spacious lounge provides an attractive retreat with a wood burner set in a stone fireplace, creating a comfortable space year-round. The country-style kitchen/diner is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare meals for family and friends, and an external door leads to a utility area. A convenient cloakroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs, three charming bedrooms offer lovely river and countryside views. The master king-size bedroom features dual-aspect views and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is also a king-size, and the third is a twin bedroom. Completing this floor is a stylish family bathroom. The small, fully enclosed patio is a delightful outdoor space, complete with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or al fresco dining.

Withypool boasts a post office, village stores, tea rooms, and a 17th-century country inn. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walkers, with numerous picturesque trails starting right from your doorstep. The Two Moors Way passes through Withypool, and there is a 9-mile circular route to the renowned Tarr Steps, along with other riverside, moorland, and country walks offering spectacular views. Local beauty spots are just a scenic drive away, including Landacre Bridge (4 miles) and for a day at the seaside, visit picturesque coastal villages such as Lynton (18 miles) and Lynmouth (16.5 miles).

- Smart TV with streaming services in the lounge. Sonos sound system and Bluetooth speakers connectable from your personal device throughout the cottage. Alexa virtual assistant provided in lounge and all 3 bedrooms, allowing independent music streaming via Spotify. USB-C and USB-A power charging outlets throughout the cottage

- Small fully enclosed patio area at the side of the property with garden furniture

- Allocated private parking for 1 car within 100 metres signed "The Old Chapel Parking Only". Additional parking in the village car park approx. 300 metres (free and subject to availability)

- Pub, tea room, village shop and post office all within an 80-metre radius

- Camera in operation 24/7 (real time data only, not recording) covering parking spot and road outside property. It does not cover the front door.
