Located on the Toccoa River, this 5 acre estate has 200 feet of frontage on the Toccoa River and 1200 feet of Hothouse Creek Frontage. The house is designed for outdoor living with its two extra large covered porches overlooking the river. The 4BR/3 BA house has a large kitchen that is fully stocked. The property is level and has easy access into the water for those who want to fish, paddle board, kayak, or float. There are 3 T.V.s, One is located in the living room, downstairs master bedroom, and the upstairs master suite. The laundry room is large and located just off of kitchen for easy convenience. House has internet, but who wants that when you can be outside enjoying nature! Property can be rented as a wedding venue for a 50 guest or under wedding party for $3,500. Ask owner about event charge.

This is a wonderful and large cabin and we greatly enjoyed our stay. It has been updated and improved from the last time we stayed there last year. The rain made the fishing more difficult but we still caught some fish. The fire pit is great and we enjoyed it 2 times during our stay. The porch provides a great view of the Toccoa River.

Amazing place
This home is beautiful. Everything you need if you choose to stay at the home. You can fish, play games, kayak or relax. There are nearby stores and a small shopping area. We spent time hiking as well. A perfect getaway.

Lovely place!
A wonderful stay for a multi generational week long vacation. Very clean home, incredibly well equipped kitchen, and huge outdoor space…which is where we spent most of our time. Right on the river with lots of privacy. Excellent communication with owners. Worry free stay. Highly recommend.

Secluded luxury home on the river relaxes!
Loved this immaculate beautiful home right on the river! Very private, beautiful location on a creek and the river! Easy access to the river, lovely getaway- everything you need is there except your fishing poles and smores fixings! A perfect break from our busy lives in Atlanta! Serene and relaxing!

Amazing property, on the River, close to 2 towns
Rent this home! It’s perfect for a larger family or 3 families. We had 3 families with 3 kids total and it was perfect! The upstairs master bedroom is amazing!! The location is great too! 20-25mins from Blue Ridge and 10-12mins from copper hill. We will rent again!

Beautiful but crowded
The cabin is beautiful and spacious. All the amenities you would need. The river is great and we did see the train come through. My only complaints: Dont allow pets (huge piles of dog crap in the yard. He cabin is surrounded by other cabins. Literally on 3 sides of you. I like going to the mountains to get away not be in a subdivision. Get rid of neighbors dogs. Literally had to listen to them bark anytime your outside at night. Couldn't enjoy the fire pit

Nice River House
We stayed at the river house the week of July 4th. Our family ranges from 8 months old to 56 and the house worked well for us all. The fishing is great, highly recommend bringing circular rafts to float in the river. Definitely enjoyed the outdoor living spaces. The house is nice and well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. The upstairs is very nice but the 4th bedroom entry is from inside the master suite. This might be convenient if traveling with children but not ideal otherwise. Aside from that, the house was great and would stay again if the 4th bedroom is not needed.

Idyllic Location
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. There was so much wonderful outdoor space, we were able to play games, roast marshmallows, float the river, and do a lot of fishing. The kitchen was well stocked, we cooked most nights and had plenty of cookware, utencils, and dishes. Beds were comfy, there were a lot of towels for the seven of us and it really felt like everyone had their own spaces if they wanted it. The best part about the house is definitely the decks, we spent the majority of time on one or the other. They are shaded, have lighting and fans, and lots of comfy seating. Plus you get an amazing view of the Toccoa. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had and there lots of helpful suggestions of what to do in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The Best of the Toccoa!!
This two story cabin was perfect for our Thanksgiving family meet-up! We were able to enjoy the beauty of the Toccoa River in a laid back atmosphere - from fishing and sitting fireside to relaxing on the large porches and taking early morning walks; this truly offered the best of the Toccoa in ways accessible and enjoyable to everyone in our party. Since we stayed over Thanksgiving, I must mention how PERFECTLY stocked the kitchen was. Rhonda has done a great job of providing every pan and kitchen utensil that we needed to dish up a delicious holiday meal (as home cooks, my mother-in-law and I had brought everything from our own cast iron to our own crock pots, but it was completely unnecessary!) Another pleasant surprise was how close we actually were to Copper Hill, Tennessee - which was much more authentically Appalachian than Blue Ridge! We loved the local restaurants and friendly business owners that greeted us with the utmost Southern hospitality. For these reasons and more, we will definitely be back!

Relaxing family weekend
Property and house are beautiful. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available but some pans were not clean. Upstairs bedroom was awesome and mattress was very comfortable. We were disappointed that TV in bedroom downstairs did not work and 3 TVs was an important reason we chose this property. We spent many hours around the fire pit and fishing in the river. Unfortunately the outside porches were unusable because of the overwhelming propane gas exhaust coming out right under the porch. But overall a great weekend for our family.

Absolute Perfection!
We typically use VRBO or Homeaway for our family vacations, but of all the places we have stayed, this beautiful home along with the entire rental experience has been the very best yet. I would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home if you are looking for a wonderful place to enjoy the river. The home itself was perfect for my husband and myself. We traveled alone this time, but could easily and comfortably shared the cabin with another couple or our children. The home is very well maintained, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. The floor plan of the home makes it easy to relax, either together or separately. The beds are very comfortable, and there are plenty of extra towels, blankets and pillows. The kitchen is fully furnished, and all of the "extras" that I carry when renting a house were already provided...hand soap, bath soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, laundry soap and fabric softener, kitchen towels and sponges, etc...I honestly didn't need to run to the store to pick up anything, as the owners had thought of everything. There is a fine line in making a guest feel comfortable in a rental home, without crossing the line that causes the guest to feel like they are invading someone's personal space, and these owners did an outstanding job of being welcoming without going overboard. Everything we could need was already planned for. The house itself is at the end of a road that runs along the Toccoa River and deadends into Hothouse Creek. There is a large home across the creek, but it can barely been seen through the trees. Even over the extremely crowded 4th of July weekend, we felt like we had the river and the neighborhood to ourselves. It was exactly what we were hoping for, and it was awesome! The deck is absolutely incredible. It is HUGE, and has plenty of comfortable seating that encourage the guests to just relax and watch the river go by. There is also a swing underneath an large oak tree right on the river bank that because a favorite place to sit and just do nothing. McCaysville is about 10 minutes away, and has some cute stores and restaurants, but for the best shopping and dining, drive about 25 minutes into Blue Ridge. Lots of neat shops there, and not a bad drive at all. For floating down the river, there are several places that rent tubes, canoes and kayaks about 5 minutes up the road.

Amazing property
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. We loved being right on the river with minimal steps. We really enjoyed the fire pit and outside living spaces. The home is beautiful with everything we needed for our stay. And that master suite-incredible! We will be back!

Drift Away…
What a beautiful location! If you want a little tranquility with a stunning, clean river in your backyard, then this is for you! The vacation home is very nice, and one of our favorite aspects of the house is the openness of the large deck areas. Great for relaxing and enjoying the very picturesque river.
