"We had a great time staying here. We went to hike in Mt. Rainier National park and did the skyline trail in the paradise region, we had a great time and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after a long hike. It was relaxing to be outside and hear the river next to the property. We had a great time and would stay again."

"This cozy cabin has everything we need and is located just outside the park entrance. It's perfect for four adults, but more than that would be crowded. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, which provided much-needed relaxation after a long day of hiking. There's an animal farm right next to it with chickens, ducks, goats, and more. While some smells were coming from the farm, they didn't bother us much. All in all, it was a great stay."

"We were only there for 2-nights. Wish we could stay longer. Went to Mt. Rainier Paradise and Sunrise areas. Packwood was in between where we went. This house was perfect for us. We stayed with another married couple. House was safe, clean, new, had extra offerings like the hot tub, shuffleboard, fire pit and more. Exactly how the pictures show online. "We got there 2 hours early. We were hoping to get in and drop off food that needed to be refrigerated, but the place wasn't ready for us. So we went sightseeing, out for dinner and then returned around 8. Because of poor cell service on my part, I didnt receive the code to get in the door and had to contact them. They were nice about it. Once inside, the place was cozy. Thank you for sharing your house with us. "

The pros: good location, had most everything we needed, quiet, The ability to cook breakfast and make lunches was a plus because there are few dining choices in Packwood. Cons: housekeeping needs to step up their game. I personally did more cleaning there than I would have liked to. "

"Nisqually Nest is seriously absolutely perfect! The cabin is cozy and very comfortable. After a day in the park we appreciated the hot tub and sauna for our sore legs. Beautiful interiors, well equipped and host Andrea was very responsive and helpful. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
