"My partner and I were looking for a place to spend a weekend away, and we are so glad we booked this property. The communication from the host after booking was immediate and thorough. The property was a dream come true for Frank Lloyd Wright fans. Comfortable beds, tons of natural light, a beautiful kitchen, and alls surrounded by tranquil woods filled with wildlife. We can’t wait to stay here again next year!"

"This was a perfect spot for our small family wedding. Our entire group loved this place. We were a little concerned if the traffic noise would be a problem, but we didn't even notice it. There were so many entertainment amenities, no one was without something to do during our stay."

"The property was as advertised. It was cute and made good use of the space available. Not overly spacious but we were comfortable with four adults. The “rules” were very clearly posted and were more than reasonable. The only feedback I would give is that it didn’t appear to have the floors well swept and countertops wiped, nor the toilets cleaned. However, they weren’t filthy by any means. Just needed to have a quick cleanup. The linens were all nice and easily accessible. We would stay again. "

"We enjoyed our weekend stay at this historic and recently renovated church! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our sibling adventure. We are 3 couples in our 60's and traveled to Galena for a weekend getaway and the location was perfect, just a quick drive to a rural area NE of town. The renovations are beautiful while still keeping some of the history of the church intact. We had plenty of room in the great room and kitchen area to socialize and the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect for us....

"Spring Green was a great halfway point for meeting up with friends. Three couples shared this beautiful house for a low key weekend. This unique property had everything we were looking for. The house is well-maintained, was fully stocked (especially the kitchen), and offers a spacious layout. The setting is beautiful. Barbara was a wonderful host."

"The house was awesome! We had so much fun hanging out at the house. We enjoyed checking out cave of the mounds and then a birthday celebration for my 6 year old at the house. We fed the birds, took a walk, watched football, and drank plenty of apple cider. My sister from S.C. stayed with us and we enjoyed all the Frank loyd Wright books, area architecture. It was perfect!"
