"We were given a very friendly welcome by Jerome who let us into the building and to our studio apartment as well as explaining everything and giving directions to the city attractions. The room was spotless and had a great shower. It was ideally located across from one of the old city gates and was about a 10min walk into the main attractions. "I felt I was being dealt with rather than treated as a guest during check-in and out procedures. The amenities were okay; there were only a few bathrooms for many people, and one didn't even work. This is the first hostel I've seen with a kitchen, and no one can use it. I couldn't even fill up my water bottle. Its location is excellent, and it's decent enough if you're only using it to sleep."

"My first breakfast was rearranged because the owner needed the place for her cooking class. The arrangement went badly with no apology followed. Later the owner waved my tax payment, but I would prefer an apology rather than money. This B&B needs to learn about customer service. Customers are not figures on a chessboard to move them around for owners convinience. The whole incidence left me with a bad feeling. The WiFi was also poor, needed 3 resets in 4 days."

The owners are trying on there breakfast but it is self serve and we did not find much we liked. the meat and cheese is like processed lunch meat and did not look fresh. Location is perfect for exploring all the wonderful city of Bologna has to offer, literally in the main square. Windows didn't let any street noise in and room was clean and very big.
