The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood is known for its tree-lined streets and historic homes. It’s also close to some beautiful parks like Cochran and Nathan Hale, providing many opportunities for outdoor recreation. Residents also enjoy proximity to iconic streets like Grand Avenue and Summit Avenue which are filled with shops, restaurants, and historic buildings.
Getting Around:
The St. Paul House is situated in a walkable neighborhood. All the conveniences you could think of––coffee shops, restaurants, groceries and more are just a few minutes’ walk or bike ride away. If you want to explore other parts of the city, Metro Transit operates several bus routes that serve the neighborhood. And while there isn't a light rail station directly on the avenue, the Metro Green Line has stations nearby, providing convenient access to downtown St. Paul, downtown Minneapolis, and the University of Minnesota. You can also bring your car or make use of ridesharing services like Lyft or Uber.
