The place was very unkept with carpet areas un vacuumed. The furniture in the room was very cheap and uncomfortable. We checked out on day two without sleeping overnight.

Not your fault that downtown St. Paul is a ghost town under road construction. It would be good if staff/management recommended some dining options. Day One staff directed me to easily walkable Keys Restaurant. A decent diner, over priced. Today I walked for 40minutes before I found a much better option, The Buttered Tin -- exception food, well priced, lovely ambience. Not 40 minutes away but I went way past it before I found it. This is my 2nd Sonder stay and really like the accommodations and price.

This was very well located for train travel. It was like a 5-minute walk from the train, maybe 10 or 15 minutes for an older person. The cathedral of St Paul is within walking distance. The capital building is just up the hill. The neighborhood is a little beat not because of the street construction but I had an amazing 2 days here. Great staff, and even though it first it looks like they're going to be hands off, they were super helpful and super present. I could always find someone if I needed to ask a question. I highly recommend.

So so close to every highway to get into my direct work locations. Great property. Excellent beds. Nice gym. Very useful kitchen. Free modern washer and dryer on site. Perfect

Really great property with really nice rooms, great bed, great gym. Parking not included but easy across the street. Fantastic location for commuting: just 2 min from Highway. Will be starting here again

The front desk staff were friendly. Microwave door was detached and on counter when we got to our room so completely unusable. We mentioned it to staff and they said they would send someone up to replace it then offered to move us. We had already partially unpacked and were late for a local music festival downtown so decided to stay in our current room. Later realized sliding door didn’t lock and light under microwave wouldn’t turn off so was difficult to sleep comfortably. Also, morning we left were woken up by housekeeping asking if we were leaving that day hours before checkout. Overall it was an ok hotel and convenient for event we were there for but probably won’t stay there again.

Have to pay for parking that’s not connected to the building. It’s not the safest building nor clientele. Was very noisy in room above me…they did move me to another room which I appreciated, but should not have to take place in the first place. Very disappointing. Interior room is very nice and conmfortable; however, I felt watched the entire time via smart lighting and outlets, including mirrors and appliances. You receive a code via email and since my devices are hacked and stalked; someone(s) had entered my room. I explained this to hotelier and asked for new secure code and he said it was "impossible"; where day staff gave me new code in less than 5 minutes. Additionally, I asked to lengthen my stay without moving rooms and stated it couldn't be done. While I find this highly unlikely considering I was occupying room that was the same as the incoming guests; I was unclear why this was such an impossible thing to accommodate. Considering I travel quite a bit and have NEVER encountered this response. Same room style; no difference. So decrease in ratings secondary to lack of safety and lack of flexibility. Laundry room was filthy while it was nice to have it without charge. It was very anonymous and almost austere in both its design and hospitality.
