"The unit we had was on the 3rd floor but since the elevator was temporarily out of service, Andre, the manager carried our bags up for us. He was most accommodating. He hand the night assistant, Phillipe is also very helpful. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and there is free parking at the Convento Sao Francisco is a short 5 min walk away and it is open from 7am to Midnight so we parked our car there and either walked or took cabs to any place we wanted. "The apartment made us experience the life in the old city which was nice. But the place was not as shown on the reservation site (the bedroom was not made of stonewalls).
