"The owner was very hospitable and even let us start a few hours past check out as our flight was at 2pm. Colleen also arranged for a lovely cultural tour at our request. It’s a very nice place and the included breakfast was made to order and delicious! Not some bland breakfast bar. It was like breakfast at a cute ocean view cafe where you could order an omelette or French toast. Great stay"

"This was a very relaxed property with spacious grounds away from the crowds but not too far from the “action” ( note we had a vehicle) Home grown produce used in the menu that included a lot of vegan options. Did take some time to prepare :-) Basic accommodation but good value for the price. Highly recommend you avoid a downstairs room if upstairs is occupied as the wooden floors are particularly noisy. "

"I cannot say enough good things about Travessia. The location is absolutely stunning, the food is amazing, and the staff are so kind and thoughtful. Travessia is truly a place to get away from it all and I am so appreciative of our time there. We loved that it was an eco-lodge using solar energy and was also working with the local community to be a force for good. We travel a lot, but this may be my favorite place we have ever stayed."

"Gostei so da varanda com vista ao mar.o resto e terrivel e asdudtador no meio de tanta mordernidade ainda usarem tudo arcaico.nao tem condiçoes nenhuma o hotel.mostram pescina da-sse de caras com a pescina fechada.o restaurante fechado.foi a pior estadia em tofo que tive com mosquitos e falta de condiçoes na casa.melhorem tudo."

The location is good, fairly close to the beach, the restaurant is lively with a great view, but my room didn't look like it had been cleaned properly. I found a few earbuds and bottle tops on the floor. The sink was blocked and had to be cleaned out. The room was really nothing else but a room, and everything about it seemed worn and old. The casitas are so close together and walls so thin that I could hear everything coming from both...

" Ridiculously overpriced for what I got. I was on a rate that included dinner and breakfast. When I checked out, additionally got charged for half of dinner again. I recommend no one use this rate. For the price, you expect a nice hotel. This place does not deliver on that expectation. "

"Sheets were dirty. Rooms weren’t cleaned daily. . There was a power cut and they don’t have a generator so no electricity or running water (hot or cold) for 12 hours or so. Disappointing."

"Non ho potuto utilizzare la proprietà' perche' dopo aver pagato e dopo aver contattato il padrone di casa ho scoperto che egli aveva rescisso il contratto con Vrbo già' da qualche tempo. IL sottoscritto e la mia famigli ha subito il danno, sia economico che psicologico, di dover all'ultimo minuto trovare una soluzione di ripiego. oltre a ciò' il contatto con la chat di VRBO si e' rivelato complicato e poco utile. Beautiful place

"This is a really lovely hotel. Felt super safe with nice food and beautiful rooms. Staff are very helpful and lovely. The only thing I would say is that I couldn’t go straight onto the beach from my room which is a short walk to the access point but I could nevertheless see it from my balcony. There are some building works in the area which didn’t affect me. I really appreciated the airport pick up and drop off too. I would come again. "
