We were there on Thanksgiving. This was a really cozy place! It’s full of history and atmospheric details. A little bit cold in the bathroom but overall enough heating in other rooms. The house is located somewhere at the height level of 4000 feet, so be prepared to drive uphills about 40-60 minutes. Sequoia National Park is 30 minutes if driving and the way is very winding
It was a fantastic place to stay while exploring the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks! Very handy to have a bar/resturant across the street too! Highly recommend this cute, cozy place.

It felt like we were staying in a log cabin! Great for the feeling of visiting the national parks.
We struggled with the lock box, but everything after that was amazing! The hosts were very responsive when we were struggling with the lock box. The cabin is so cozy and has so much character. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to enjoy Sequoia National Park and star gaze!
Fabulous location minutes from Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP entrance.A historic cabin with all of the amenities including a kitchen with the basic supply needs. Across the street is a historic lodge (bar and grill. Would gladly stay again but for much longer!
We enjoy this charming cabin. It was a bit further out then we expected, but we had a comfy bed after a long day in the parks. We also appreciated the history of the cabin.

This cabin is unique! It is a fully equipped one-bedroom home with 100 years of history and lots of little add-ons to make it interesting. It was wonderful to have this home away from home as our base for visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.

Nice cabin in the woods where you can enjoy morning coffee before taking in Sequoia or kings Canyon NP. Equipped kitchen was nice but shower tub was more charming than planned
The place was very nice and well kept and decorated. The host was absolutely amazing. Got our bed sheets changed every day. Clean towels.
Right across the street there’s this charming authentic restaurant, bar owned by a hard working gal Linda. The food was amazing.
Will definitely return to this cabin.

The property was very cosy and cute, but the floor was uneven and a little unstable. The outdoor was nice.
We loved this little space! I guess I really didn’t pay attention to the listing when I booked it but it’s definitely a real cabin experience. Quirky yet quaint interior. There is a random, little cafe/pub type place literally across that road that had amazing little burgers and a super friendly staff. We are happy we stayed!
My partner and I rented this cabin for a quick get away weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was the perfect little space for us - enough room with everything we needed and so close to the parks! The cabin is old, but has so much character/charm and was clean and well stocked. Melanie was very helpful with check-in information and the people at the bar across the street were welcoming when we popped in for dinner one night. Overall, a wonderful weekend and lovely little get away!
Place was really nice. I like the check-in process, key by code. Clean and stocked. I liked the posted info. I would like to come again with friends. I wonder if the cabins in the back are included if you have more members?
We loved everything about our stay at The Stansfield Cabin. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. The home is awesome. It is filled with historic pictures and cool furniture. Felt like we were living and taking part of a historic landmark. And indeed we were. Would love to go back one day !

The cabin was full of personality and charm with tons of mountain decor, a claw-footed bathtub, and stacks of board games. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of items. We were pleased at how close it was to the entrance of Sequoia Natl Park. It was right across the street from a fun lodge that drew locals for food and karaoke.
The bed was a double, smaller than we preferred, but we made it work.

Cute mountain cabin
Great location to visit King’s Canyon National park. Wonderful restaurant right across the street.
Really cute decor and rustic mountain ambiance.
Cabin had very little space to bring in personal items. The lights were not working in the bedroom so hard to maneuver. Overall I would recommend.
We enjoyed our short stay here for the weekend. Loved the antique decor and the Christmassy vibe it has.
When trying to get in, the lock box says to open the center door but when you open the center door at first it says “do not use this door” so it was a bit confusing. It’s the left center door not the right. Other than that, it was a good stay.
