"We enjoyed our stay here -- it's a nice house with a great view, and we appreciated being able to use it as a base for exploring this part of the country. We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."

While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."

"Overall, we enjoyed out stay. The location of property met expectations along with roominess, and beds were comfortable. Since it was an older property that had been updated in the last 10 years (guess), it had a lot of quirks. The upstairs bathroom had a very small shower and no places to hang towels.
