"The staff were very friendly and let me park my bike in front of the hotel for free. The lobby was full of interesting furniture and instruments so it had a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately my room smelled like a barn. I live in a house with tatami so I am used to the smell of tatami, but the smell in this room was overpowering. The toilet was noisy for a long time after a flush because water pressure for the room was low and it took a long time to refill the tank. The sink was also only giving a trickle. The onsen facility was well kept though. "

"We were unaware on our reservation through Hotels.com that our reservation included breakfast and dinner. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and dinner was basically the same every night - not what I am looking for in a vacation. Still the dinner is very good. Having said that, all the food is very Japanese, so not what all travelers can do. The hotel itself is gorgeous with amazing amenities. The staff lovely although not too comfortable with English which is fine of course. We particularly enjoyed the massage chairs, cold plunge and sauna. But the in room onsen bath was my favorite!"

"If you’re looking for a clean, safe and well maintained accommodation. This is it. The area around it doesn’t have much to offer during the evening. It’s in an expensive shopping area and a stores in close up early. It is close to the train station. I didn’t really enjoy it because it seems mostly functional as opposed to warm and welcoming, but it certainly was convenient."
