"dirty, many cooking stuff not clean, dishwasher enable to do a complete cycle, air conditionning able to cool from 3 or 4 in the morning when cool enough outside, dogs barking all night, one night and day, swimming pool not as the picture as surounding has been redone with wood and give a strong sens of poor DIY results."

"It would have been nice if there had been a swimming pool and somewhere to get a drink during the day. "

"During 8 weeks touring Italy as a family of 4 (2 children), this was our favourite accommodation by far. Very clean second story flat with more than enough room for us. The place has lots of character and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a lengthy stay. Lots of beach toys and furniture included. Minutes walk to the beach and great shops all within the historic centre. Great value. Great communication from the host as well. "

It is also very close to the center and ocean. It was clean and well lit and had a lot of good closet space for storing clothes. "Our host was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips on the local region and keeping the attractive outside area clean. The patio and pool area looks across a mountain view, changing in the light from dawn to dusk. The apartment provided everything we needed including indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. Castelbuono is well served for bars, restaurants and points of interest. It sits in the Madonie nature reserve so is good for walking and wildlife ."

"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. Great hotel

"Charming old school euro hotel. Service was outstanding. Staff courteous and friendly. We loved the location and hotel that we booked in an extra night. Cefalu is a great place to visit in Sicily. We stayed 6 days. Never got tired of walking to every meal and just enjoying the atmosphere. Hike to the Castle and Greek temple by just walking from the hotel. A truly great experience. Hotel location is across the street from the beach with its Poseidon Bar. Even in November sunny and warm. Just relax on the perfect sand."

"Absolutely gorgeous boutique property, perfect for R&R, lounging by the pool and indulging in the inventive tasting menu (a high point during our trip!). Fantastic pool and bar area with fast and friendly service. Charming Cefalu is a shuttle ride away and we appreciated not having to drive ourselves into the town. The staff were very kind and attentive. The only downside was the size of our room - extremely small, if I were to return, I would seek out a large room if that is an option. The private terrace helps make up for it."
