Treat yourself to dinner and a breakfast. And the staff are wonderful. Note you will need to use a taxi frequently but that shouldn’t cost more than 1400 yen each way. There are also rooms for those with bikes"

"Stayed in the double (nom dormitory) room. It was excellent. Very modern clean and Japanese. Let us leave luggage early after arriving before check in for for free also. Breakfast the next day was also really good. "

"This location is right next to Saijo station - an excellent place to stay with quick access to Sakagura street to visit all of the sake breweries. My only complaint is there’s only one elevator for the whole hotel so for events like the Saijo Sake Matsuri it takes a long time to get to and from your room, and the breakfast area becomes very crowded. they do have a washer and dryer which I used twice very convenient very efficient. The coffee maker was broken for two of the three days I stayed so that was a bummer. I wish they could’ve given everyone ¥200 to go to the 7-Eleven for coffee or just brew it in the kitchen!"
