Had a bit of struggle with check in as we don't speak Polish and people responsible for keys don't speak English, but with google translator help we sorted it out quickly. This wasn't the host, but locals living next to apartment, had no issue communicating with the host, email replies were quick and informative. "Na miejscu okazało się, że w pokoju dla 4 osób jest jedno łóżko dwuosobowe. Próby wyjaśniania tematu z personelem były nieprzyjemne, każda kolejna osoba przekierowywała temat dalej. Osoba, z biura TatryTop, z którą rozmawiałam telefonicznie była opryskliwa i stwierdziła wręcz, że powinnam wiedzieć, że pokój nr 3 jest dwuosobowy (nie wiem skąd) i sama sobie jestem winna. The lady at the reception was very kind she could not give me a room earlier than a check it is but she offered me to keep my luggage in a locked room where I also changed my clothes and followed my trip to Štrbske pleso. "POSITIVES: - the view made my stay - room was spacious - best breakfast I've had in the past 2.5 weeks (CR & POL) in terms of selection. - friendly, accommodating staff - removed from city centre, so outdoor surroundings peaceful - towel warming rack - elevator - good value NEGATIVES: - wifi is atrocious, not just in the room but had difficulty at front desk as well - if you only speak English, you will encounter some language barriers. - this is about a 25-min walk from main station and the last 10 minutes is all uphill. There is no bus passing by. - great tv options...if you speak Polish. - walls are paper thin--be prepared to hear the guy next door snoring - no refrigerator Despite all these negatives, I still really enjoyed my stay and would have gladly stayed a 2nd night if they had a room free. "
