Colors of the atomic era
Our first impression was that this accommodation provided the basic amenities needed for our brief stay in Moab. On closer observation, it dawned on me that the colors of each room were reminiscent of the 50's, and the bold the western aesthetic: turquoise and avocado, warm yellow and a hint of orange. The bathtub was exceptional in its stylish design and sturdiness. The artwork and mounted mirrors were spare but chosen to merit a second and third glance. The thought behind the choice of colors and amenities added a level of sophistication to this utilitarian space. An added bonus was the location of our room, with a private spot outside with table and chairs to sit and contemplate Moab's unique sense of place.
