"The Cheese Factory home is exactly as advertised - old western-style theme décor, space for many (we were just two adults), a well-stocked and large kitchen, and quiet, quiet, quiet with a bubbling creek next door. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and communications with the host went well. (There are stairs to the main (2nd) floor, if that's a concern.) Comfy bed, and large living room area with books and games. Great stay!"

In addition, the size of this vacation rental was more than enough for us. In fact, we have family living in Alturas and visit them from Denver at least twice a year! "Great communication. Manager checked in with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. The house was as described. Well stocked and very comfortable. Great place in a beautiful setting. Quiet and comfortable street out of town but very close and easy to get to town. Amazing host! Awesome stay! The house was warmed and ready to go upon arrival. 5 stars well earned."
