This is a bright and spacious, south facing apartment with a terrace enjoying stunning sea views and benefits from the sun morning till night and all year round. It also has the benefit of a private garage, which would be ideal if you are on a cycling holiday, plenty of space for bikes plus a car.

Situated on a well-maintained community, this beautiful apartment has a large open-plan lounge/ diner with two sofas, FreeSat TV and DVD player plus also benefits from free 600mb fibre optic Wi-Fi, with aircon. Sliding doors lead you from the lounge onto the very spacious private terrace with fabulous views across the meditterranean. The large terrace is a great sun-trap and has ample space for dining alfresco with large table (awning is available to shield from the sun if required), plus the added benefit of a luxurious two-seater sofa and two armchairs and two sun loungers. The south facing terrace has sun throughout the year and is ideal for winter stays. There is a well-fitted separate kitchen with breakfast bar plus all the appliances from home – washing machine, fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, kettle etc. The spacious master bedroom has sliding glass doors leading onto the terrace, a kingsize bed with aircon, an ensuite bathroom (bath/shower), safe & hair dryer. The second bedroom is a twin room also with aircon, and an adjacent family bathroom with shower. The complex also has two communal pools to choose from.

This apartment is in a great elevated location, situated on the 3rd floor. Mojacar Playa is just 300m via a private gated pathway (pink path) from golden sandy beaches, cafes and restaurants. There is also a bus that runs every 30 minutes along the Playa, costing a mere €1.20 per journey. It is ideally situated for those who want the convenience of amenities and the beach close at hand but also want peace and relaxation. The sea at this end of the Playa (unlike further down where it drops away rapidly) is ideal for children, being only waist deep all the way out to the end of the Quay.

Fab apartment with everything g you need for a pleasant stay. Communication with the host was good and we were able to check in early. Would recommend to definitely hire a car as it’s quite a hill and then steps up to the apartment. Would definitely stay again. 😊

Lovely Appartment had everything you needed. So clean and comfy and Julie was great. We were arriving late so Julie went out of her way to leave us some bread, coffee, water, milk and other essential bits till we could get to the supermarket. Perfect Apartment
Very spacious apartment, fitted out very well. Located close to the beach, with restaurants & bars not too far a walk away. The terrace is a very good size and the views are outstanding. We had an amazing holiday at Casa Lucy, I can't wait to return
Julie was so friendly right from the beginning, she answered any questions straight away and also left really useful things like washing powder, bin bags, silver foil, cling film etc, all the things you don't realise you need! The terrace is fantastic, eating breakfast watching the sunrise over the sea is s truly magical experience. We loved all the stars, the beautiful breeze and the crashing if the waves in the background. We literally chose not to leave the apt very much as it was SO relaxing. We walked down by the sea every morning, had breakfast and then meandered back to swim, read, watch movies and eat gorgeous food, it was utterly amazing. The whole apartment is very comfy, the showers really powerful. If I had one comment it would be that the cushion was a bit scratchy when you had caught the sun, otherwise it was perfection. Their are several large supermarkets so you can buy anything you need, the restaurant's and bars are easily walkable to (going down the hill_ slightly harder climbing back up! 😆) I cannot recommend imperial pizza more highly, check it out on Facebook, you won't be disappointed! We will definitely be returning, a short flight and less than one hour from Almeria airport, it could not be easier to get too! Thank you Julie x

Happy return to Mojacar
We first stayed at this property in June 2019. We returned in October because we liked it so much. Lovely comfy, south facing apartment with fantastic views. Very friendly owner, it is a real pleasure to do business with her. The only thing I would say, is that you need to be in good shape to enjoy the apartment to the maximum as there are some steep hills and steps up, but that suits us fine. We are looking forward to staying here again next year.

A great place to stay a short walk away from the beach, bars and restaurants. We had a lovely time in the spacious apartment with a huge terrace for outdoor dining, sunbathing and relaxing. The pool was really close by and I swam every day with the pool to myself. The garage was handy once we got the knack of the lock. Lots of steps to climb up to the third floor as the apartment block is on a steep hillside. We would stay here again if we returned to the lovely town of Mojacar.

Contact with Julie was great, and her response to any questions was really prompt. The apartment was very clean and spacious, the view from the balcony was stunning, we particularly liked the size of the balcony and with such beautiful weather we spent a lot of time sitting outside. We would certainly recommend a visit to Mojácar Pueblo for its stunning views and narrow streets with lovely shop keepers. We will certainly consider returning in the future.

Great view, great apartment
We rented this apartment for the views and we weren’t disappointed. The terrace is very spacious and this meant I could sit under the canopy in the shade and my husband could lie in the sun like a lizard. The furniture on the terrace is varied and comfortable and although we ate out every night, you could use the dining table and benches. We used the swimming pool every day and we were the only people in it. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortably furnished. All the furnishings looked new and stylish. The beds were comfy and didn’t give me backache, as so many holiday beds do. The television had English programmes and the free WiFi was great! You do have to be fairly sound in wind and limb as the apartment is situated up a steep hill and has 50+ stairs up to it (hence the fabulous views) and a car is desirable although we did use the fantastic bus service quite a lot. Julie the owner is so friendly, greateasy to deal with and responds to any query or request very quickly. We loved this apartment and have already booked again for the autumn - enough said!

Perfect relaxation
The minute you walk on to the terrace you are in awe of the view. The terrace is huge and fully furnished with all you could need for sitting and sunbathing . The interior is roomy and comfortable . Look at the photos they don’t deceive . We were there for over 2 weeks and never tired of sitting in the sun looking at the sea . You have to be aware that there are about 45 steps up to the property but believe me the view wouldn’t be half as good from lower down . You Can hear the waves lulling you to sleep at night . The apartment has all you need and if you get a bad day you can always watch English tv . The consumo supermarket about 1.5 km away would be comparable to a Morrison’s and is super clean. If you don’t take your own car as we did you would really need to hire a car . Definitely worth the consideration. We would go back tomorrow . John Northampton

Beautifully kept, spacious appartment with an enormous balcony with the best sea views we've seen in Mojacar. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Dealing with Julie (the owner) was a pleasure as she was so helpful and responsive to messages. We rented for 2 months and wouldn't hesitate to reccommend the appartment and will definitely rent it again!

We chose to have a family holiday here to coincide with a big birthday (my 60th) and so the apartment needed to be everything we had hoped, based on the description given. We were not disappointed! The apartment offers everything a family could want for and is very well situated, well away from the busier clubs and bars at the northern end of sea front. The beach is a short walk down the hill and was never over crowded or too busy when we stayed in August and the complex pool is literally next to the apartment and can be seen from the large sun terrace. Everything in the apartment worked as it should and the air conditioning was especially welcome for our our peak of the summer heat stay. We opted not to rent a car but relied on private transfers to and from the airport and public transport getting around the local area. The bus service is frequent and cheap (just 1.20 euros to the Lidl store in Garrucha) and it stops at the bottom of the hill at the Puerto Marina Hotel. I'm aware that being car-less is not suitable for everyone though as, although it's quite pleasant walking down to the beach or bars and local shops, walking back up the hill, especially when its hot, does require a degree of fitness. However, a taxi to bring you back up to the apartment block is always an option. The views from the apartment are spectacular with some stunning sunrises over the sea in the morning followed by lovely views of the moon reflecting on the Mediterranean at night. Another review has mentioned the steps up the entrance of the apartment - yes there are 52 of them but as the apartment is built into the hillside there's really no getting away from them. Just take your time and enjoy the views on the way up :-) Finally, would I stay here again? Yes - I certainly would .
