"Lots of room to hold a large group. Good location as you can travel throughout Switzerland within a reasonable drive. Quite the drive up the mountain through the narrow and winding streets if you aren’t used to it but all worth it! So close to the village of Nendaz which had lots to offer. Great host- super cooperative and responsive to questions. Can’t beat the views!"

The outdoor balcony/deck facing the mountain...esp with the great weather makes in a gem. Plenty of hiking right around the village too. Will rent the larger one next time, if available"

"Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). "This is a great place to stay for keen skiers who know each other well as the sleeping area is open plan. Great for a family or four very close friends. If you come in winter, you need a 4x4 to have independent access to the chalet. Ski in/ski out for good skiers. Well equipped and extremely charming. The owner Harald is very helpful and always available. Recommended!"

"Loved this property! It was a perfect ski chalet! We walked to go rent skis and then walked to slopes (using funicular) - could also walk to grocery store. A little sledding hill was right across from condo too! House was super cozy - beautiful views from back yard! It was a perfect stay! I’d love to go again! Host was responsive when we needed him. "

The property was perfect; The rooms were great and very clean. it had everything we needed. Marco (host) went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. "Can’t praise this hotel enough. Just across the road from the bus and railway station, this hotel was so convenient and nice. The room was small but fine for a single person, really nice decor and very warm and cosy. The breakfast had a good selection and they even had tea which was very much appreciated. If you’re going to Visp I highly recommend the Baxter!"
