"The location could not be more perfect! And hosts were great! The only comment I have is that we didn’t anticipate such steep stairs - my 76 year old Mom was with us and the stairs were a bit challenging for her. Wanted to add that as a warning for folks traveling with anyone that may have mobility challenges."

"Property better than expected. I am not a smoker so was concerned there would be a smell of cigarettes, but there was not. Apartment is on top floor and has two great terraces. Tram stop into Strasbourg was very close. We used the trams lot and also walked in a few times. The centre was a very pleasant 4km flat walk. Would stay again"

There is no elevator so pack light as you need to climb many steps. The apartment is enormous and has every convenience you need. "Wir waren im September 2024 zu Gast in Barr. Die Wohnung liegt zentral in der Innenstadt, alle Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs sind fußläufig auf kurzem Weg erreichbar. Sie ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles Nötige ist vorhanden. Sogar der Kühlschrank war bei unserer Ankunft schon gut gefüllt. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür! Nachteilig sind lediglich die begrenzten Parkmöglichkeiten im Hinterhof. Fahrräder können in einem abschließbaren Schuppen untergebracht werden."

"This gem is located in a quiet northern suburb of Strasbourg. The host let us check in early and gave us a great overview of the apartment and the transportation options if you don’t utilize a car. Strasbourg and Colmar are worthy of a five day vacation on their own. The cobblestone roads and old rustic homes and buildings are spectacular. You must take the boat tour and visit the Cathedral of Norte Dame in Strasbourg. Thanks Christine for such a great vacation!"

"The place is very good, quiet area, walking distance to center, accesible. My only suggestion is that at least someone could collect the garbage from each apartment everyday or we could leave the garbage outside the apartment and someone collect it. They did not have a system in place for everyday collect the trash so we had to take it around the block where is the parking lot and a lot of garbage containers and rats walking around. "
