"Beautiful traditional family house. Amazing views. Lovely pool. I swam most days. Peaceful setting that we did not want to leave. Stayed for a month!. Giorgio and his sister were very helpful. Well stocked kitchen. We fell in love with Poggio Mirteto town. We had lovely walks, visited hill towns . Enjoyed Marmore falls and Narni in particular.. Easy access to train station in 20 minutes. Umberto on hand next door if there is a problem. Bliss...."

"I loved the layout of the room, parking is plentiful. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and there were restaurants nearby. The morning breakfast had variety but could use more fresh fruit, berries, nuts. "It was a disappointment that the pool was closed when we arrived. This was the attraction for me to book this hotel. The restaurant for dinner was beautiful. Staff attentive and food great. Highly recommend the dinner here. Breakfast we found very underwhelming. No honey left. no yoghurt left, only a few pieces of bread available. Choice of cornflakes or chocolate flakes. No fresh fruit at all. This was at 8.30am Kitchen staff obviously weren't in kitchen - no hot food. Huge variety of beautiful cakes for breakfast, unfortunately cake for breakfast is not for everyone. We had to go to reception to find service to get coffee/tea."

"This is a beautiful property. The buildings and surrounding countryside. The outdoor amenities are terrific with a large pool and a jetted smaller pool (cold water). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was small and utilitarian and the bed was too hard for our liking. We are dinner and breakfast there and both meals were good (especially the cooked breakfast). The only downside of the property is that it is aging and in need of updating and maintenance. We still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a relaxing away from the crowd getaway. "
