"We booked for a week but left after 3 days. We are tough but not that tough. A neighbour was burning leaves 24/7. We couldn't go outside or open a window. It hurt our eyes and throats. Regine said she called but nothing changed. We gave her an opportunity to make good when we told her we had to leave and find a hotel but nothing was offered. Otherwise, the kitchen was well supplied, there were 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels, thin pillows and a no-frills bed. This is my first negative review...

"The property is charming: isolated and remote in the maquis of Corsica, wildlife and vegetation all around. For the hot afternoons, a (heated) shared pool which came in useful after our days at the beach or hiking in the nearby amazing trails of Ospedale forest. Valerie is a great host, so helpful and with great local recommendations. Highly recommend!"

Für's Wandern brauchten wir jeweils rund eine Stunde Anfahrzeit mit dem Auto - die Landschaft war so schön, dass dies jeweils einem Ausflug gleich kam. "We had a lovely week here with our 2 young children, the house was equipped with everything we needed. The kids loved the dipped area by the fireplace and that was their play area/ house! Wonderful views for breakfast from the balcony and amazing views from the roof terrace in the evenings when it had cooled. It became a place for our eldest to play card games with daddy whilst enjoying the views. The swimming pools around the corner were great and we visited a couple of times, the kids loved...

"Maison conforme à l’annonce, accolée à une autre location, si voisins respectueux, très au calme, perdue dans le maquis à 15 min d’un hyper U de porto vecchio et à environ 30 min des plages de Palombaggia et Santa Giulia. Valerie est à l’écoute de ses locataires et dépanne dès qu’elle peu (merci beaucoup). Nous avons malheureusement eu beaucoup de vent cette semaine du 8/15 juin 2024, donc Tv et Wifi ont été très capricieux, mais ce sont les vacances, un peu de déconnexion ne fait pas de mal...

"The hotel charged me 15 euros for the electric charging station and the car charger did not work at all. When I asked to be reimbursed, the receptionist became really mean!! It is not about 15 euros, in the grand scheme of things…I will likely never get reimbursed!! it is about how the receptionist who treated all the customers so poorly and was sooo condescending … They don’t have the customers and service in mind. (Roberto the night receptionist was great!)"

They have a fixed lunch menu that is served until 18:30 so you have no worries about getting something to eat. The wine list is rather decent with nicely picked local organic reds, whites and rosés. Maora beach is within walking distance from the property so no worries about parking either. A great place to stay as a base to explore...
